We had stayed at this hotel before and returned because of its excellent location, cleanliness, service and comfort. What made this stay most extraordinary this time was the exceptional service we received from Jacobo. Not only did he have information on places to eat, locations of attractions and services, but he went above and beyond in finding information about our cruise location which was not easily recoverable. In fact, we believe his efforts in securing information on the new port facilities and its means of getting there may have, in fact, helped hundreds of other passengers on the same cruiser ship arrive there safely as well. While he was calling around to find information on the new (and changed) location of our cruise ship and the desired means of getting there, it was alerted to the cruise line that hundreds of passengers may have similar difficulties in locating the ship. An email was sent to all passengers later that day to all prospective passengers with information on the site and means of arriving there. We believe Jacobo's efforts alerted cruise line management to the potential problem. We are extremely grateful for his efforts because we know it cost him some time and effort. By the way, the information he provided allowed us to get there safely and in plenty of time for the cruise. Needless to say, the next time we are in Venezia we will be staying at the San Zaccariah. We will be recommending this hotel to our friends and family as well.

Lovely location just off the waterfront in a quiet square, and yet less than a minute from heading inland on the pathways and alleys to find lots of places to eat and shop. Decor was sweetly traditional if a little tired, and the aircon did the trick although it was sometimes slow to get going. There wasn't a huge amount of space (a double room for myself and husband, with side room for teenager in a single bed) to move around, but nothing I wouldn't expect from an old city hotel. One thing we LOVED - when you let yourself back into the hotel with your keycard after a day of walking out in the heat, the foyer was ICE COLD from the aircon and that was a delight. I feel like I got the value I paid for.

We travelled with a family of 4 including two teens and had a family room. The rooms were large and spacious with good beds. Kids had a room and parents had a room and nobody was living on top of one another. The hotel is at the back of the plusher hotel and you use that hotels facilities if u need to we didn’t as we were out most of the time. The location was central and very safe for our teens to walk around by themselves when they wanted. We caught a water taxi from the airport and a vaparetto back and it was easy allow an extra 15 mins for the vaparetto

The hotel had a fantastic location, a 5-min walk to the doge's palace and St Mark's square. The room and hotel itself felt more like a 4-star hotel rather than a three, and was decorated in venetian style which I adored. The room was huge, with a big bed and clean bathroom. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The check in area is in another hotel (a short walk away) but I had a lovely staff member carry my luggage from the check in area to my room which was an excellent touch. I would 100% recommend this hotel for a short stay in Venice!

The property was near to any attraction that you need to see in Venice. The location is in the centre of Venice, near to Piazza San Marco, walking distance to Ponte Rialto and the vaporetto station is right in front of the Hotel. The employees are very helpful to any request and for us 2 adults and 1 child they even upgraded us to a bigger place. Small details that make the difference. If i will ever come back to Venice they will be my choice without a doubt.
